Hussein Agha Malek was his father’s assistant in the real estate department of Khorasan and during a trip to Mashhad with him, with the guidance of a friend of his father, he got acquainted with the exquisite objects of the Razavi shrine and later in Neishabour when a copy of the Divan of Ibn Yamin Freyumdi, a sixth century poet. He got Hijri, the idea of ​​founding a large library came to his mind. What he dedicated was, in addition to thousands of exquisite manuscripts or lithographs, carpets, chandeliers, furniture, and paintings that he used as accessories and luxuries of his personal life. It also included collections of stamps, coins, lacquer works, and paintings. These works were first displayed next to the library and then formed the core of the property museum.

Khaneh Malek, which is the largest cultural endowment in Iran and is the first private endowment museum in Iran and one of the six libraries in the country in the field of manuscripts, was included in the list of national monuments of Iran in 1997. This house is now one of the centers affiliated with the National Library and Museum of Malik and is managed under its supervision. After the death of Hossein Agha Malek, the library and museum continued to work in this house for several years, and then in 1375, this complex was transferred to a plot of land located in the historical area of ​​the National Garden of Tehran, which was purchased and allocated by him for this purpose.
